Join us as we welcome Angel Cushing. She will be informing us about the 30x30 Plan, an executive order by the President, Joe Biden, and where it currently stands. The 30x30 plan is an effort by the Federal Government to push the conservation of 30-percent of U.S. lands and waters by the year 2030. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, right now about 12-percent of the land in the U.S. is in conservation. Within the next 10 years, the federal government hopes to transition nearly 440 million acres into federal protection.
